‘Idol’ talk

MANILA, Philippines—Auditions for GMA 7’s “Pinoy Idol” are ongoing. First stop is Cagayan de Oro. Identities of the judges and host were still under wraps at press time. But an unimpeachable source gave us a tip: Wyngard Tracy, Ogie Alcasid and Jolina Magdangal were almost surely the panel members, and that the host would either be Raymond Gutierrez or, from last year, Ryan Agoncillo. If Agoncillo isn’t renewed as host, we hear he is being eyed for the rival contest, “Pinoy Dream Academy,” on ABS-CBN 2.
