I-Artist Asia is proud to bring together first Philippine Idol Mau Marcelo who recently represented the country in the region-wide Asian Idol competition in Jakarta, and Idol's top 3 finalist Gian Magdangal, 20th Awit awardee for best performance by a new male recording artist and SOP mainstay. The two champion singers will perform in an intimate Valentine show titled LOVE Sings to be held on February 13 and 14 at the TROPEZZ Bar and Restaurant, Greenbelt 3, Makati City. Catch Mau and Gian as they display their vocal prowess that catapulted them to idol status.
Gian was in the headlines recently when it was revealed that he has fathered a child with former Viva Hot Babe Sheree. His girlfriend is currently pregnant with their first child and is expected to give birth on the last week of April or early May.

After competing in the region-wide singing competition Asian Idol held in Jakarta, Indonesia, Mau Marcelo is back in the country to serenade her countrymen. Although the Philippine Idol champion lost to Singapore's Hady Mirza, Mau Marcelo brought honor to the country by leading the tally of votes from the public in the said competition.
Her latest single "Sino Ba Naman Ako?" continues to be a favorite among listeners of top radio stations all over the country. Its heartbreaking lyrics and catchy melody not only touch the hearts of Filipinos; the song also takes listeners back to the jukebox hits of the ‘70s. In fact, "Sino Ba Naman Ako?" is the theme song of the GMA-7 afternoon Koreanovela Comeback Soon-Ae. This Mau Marcelo interpretation is indeed fast becoming this year's official love track.
You will get to see more of Mau Marcelo as she performs in her mall shows starting this Sunday, February 3 at the SM Dasmariñas, Cavite. She will be at SM Bacoor, Cavite on February 9 (Saturday), SM Marilao, Bulacan on February 17 (Sunday) and SM City Lucena on March 8 (Saturday). Mau will sing cuts from her debut album I Shine For You. All shows start at 5 p.m. Every purchase of the album entitles the buyer to a free poster and the chance to meet Mau in person and have her autograph on the album and poster.

Earlier this afternoon, Mau guested on DZMM TeleRadyo, particularly on the show Showbiz Mismo (with Cristy Fermin & Jobert Sucaldito).
Good thing that Mau was given ample time to promote her shows and her latest single "Sino Ba Naman Ako?" was even playing in the background. The two hosts had nothing but praises for Mau. There were even texters who expressed their support for her and were hoping that she be a regular on ASAP '08.
She also has a spot on today's issue of The Philippine Star, particularly on the Entertainment Section.

Mau Marcelo was on On The Spot Jackpot of Eat Bulaga awhile ago. Unfortunately I wasnt able to record it cos I didnt watch Eat Bulaga today. Saturnyne of ABC forums just posted awhile ago regarding Mau's guesting. =( Saturnyne also said that she wasnt even picked and interviewed. O well at least she's there right? *edited* I finally saw a portion of the On The Spot Jackpot. Thanks to the capper.
