Jaclyn To Wed Next Year

The much-awaited wedding of songstress Jaclyn Victor to her British beau, Christopher John Bellamy, has been postponed to next year. The gemilang and cepat-cepat singer confirmed the rumours.

"The wedding will probably take place next year," she told The Malay Mail when contacted yesterday. "we haven't fixed a date yet," she added.

Jac, as she is known to her fans, remained tight-lipped when asked on the exact month the wedding will take place. Jac disclosed that she has't had the opportunity of late to discuss the wedding with her fiancee.

"We have not planned anything because Chris is in Britain." She admitted that the two-year long-distance relationship has been "very hard" on both of them. She also hinted that the wedding might have to wait until Bellamy gets a job in Malysia so that they can settle down here.

"Part of the reason we haven't set a date is because we hope to end the long-distance affair after the wedding."

Bellamy is currently based in London. The lovebirds got engaged on Dec. 4 last year, Jaclyn's 27th birtday. Since then, rumours about a possible wedding this year have spread like wildfire.
